Be together here...soon.
Confluence is a business that brings Whanganui's community together.
A place to work together, a place to meet together, a place to see films together. It is always a place for people to be together when it is safe to do so.
Covid-19 Update: Confluence will reopen fully once the Whanganui region returns to Alert Level 1. Find out more here.
Watch together here...soon.
A cinema the same as other cinemas, but also thoughtfully different.

Confluence has relocated to newly refurbished spaces in the fabulous heritage Whanganui building, known locally as the Backhouse. You'll find this large 1930s Chicago style building on the corner of Drews Avenue and Taupo Quay, just opposite the Tram Shed.
Confluence's public coworking entrance is at 14 Drews Avenue. This is a step-free access to coworking and everything offered at Confluence.
Confluence's public cinema and events door is 12 Drews Avenue. Our box office will be there to greet you as you enter. There are a few steps leading up to this door, so our step free access door will also be available as needed.
Covid-19 Update: To help keep everyone safe all visitors are asked to avoid visiting until we are under the relative safety and comfort of Alert Level 1. Sorry for the inconvenience, we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
