Coworking

Worked together here.
Coworkers working at desks in Confluence
Confluence Coworking was an affordable alternative for those who loved the flexibility of working from home in Whanganui, yet also yearned for more structure to each working day. It was a great choice for getting that productivity vibe from working around other people.

Our coworking deals took naming inspiration from local interactions with our awa. Here's the story about the names we chose and why.
For coworkers literally 'passing by' Whanganui during a short visit, we are certain you'll cross over at least one of the Whanganui River's bridges. So our Passing By deals were named after some notable local bridges. Each one reflecting how long you might spend on that particular bridge in reality.
With the infamous Dublin Street Bridge offering the most time here, comparable to how long you might feel you've spent on it in a car on a weekend!
For the more adventurous who regularly dipped into coworking at Confluence we liked to reflect the time each deal offers in comparison with the size of Whanganui River's tributaries. We also represented these deals with icons of  wildlife representing what each river is known to be a habitat for.

Information icon
Confluence coworking desks were always over 2 metres apart since we first opened in 2015. Our motivation for this was putting the comfort of people over the short term gains of profit. It has meant that the additional safety mitigations of Covid19, have not impacted the number of coworking spaces we were able to offer.

Confluence published clear guidance on how we are operating our business under the various protection mitigations and phases.
