Confluence Whanganui Ltd is a registered company, with Confluence being a trading name of Double Farley Creative Partners Limited (written as Double Farley). For the intent of this policy and any financial, personal, or data sharing interactions between yourself and www.confluence.kiwi or any of its subpages, including www.doublefarley.com and any of its subpages, the following principles of privacy shall apply. For We, Us, Our, or similar, read as Double Farley. For You, or similar, read as the visitor or supply of information to the websites in question.

Double Farley is committed to respecting the privacy of visitors to, and users of, this website.  We use the principles of the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993 to guide our practice.

We don’t collect any personal information about you when you visit or use this site unless you purchase or reserve a product or service online, or specifically sign-up for newsletters or memberships, or request information from us using any of the contact forms on the site.

Any supplied financial information, such as credit card numbers, will be supplied by you to a third party payment processing service and will not be provided to us in full, however a summary of the transaction will be supplied to us.

We will always make it clear what information is being collected, why it is being collected, how it will be stored, and how it will be used.

We take our legal and ethical responsibilities very seriously and will never engage in unlawfully or unethically collecting, using, or distributing personal information.

One or more of the above, including your access device and internet connection provider(s) used at the time, may record and retain additional information about your visit to our website and certain actions or data you take whilst there. Any recording and retention will be detailed under a seperate agreement between you and the third parties. This information is not available or accessible to us but may be supplied by the third parties to you or officials requesting it within their legal territories. We are unable to request or provide access to, or supply legal advice about, any third party held, recorded, or shared information.

Principle 6: Access to personal information we hold
You may contact us at any time to check whether we hold any information about you.  We will comply with your request within 5 working days. This does not include personal information held by third parties you may have interacted with whilst using our site, unless that information has been passed onto us by them as per our agreements.

You may ask that we correct or delete any personal information we hold about you.  We will comply with your request within 5 working days. This does not include personal information held by third parties you may have interacted with whilst using our site, you will need to contact them directly for any corrections, we can advise whom these may be, but on a limited basis.

Principle 8: Accuracy of personal information to be checked before use
We only collect personal information directly from you.  If the information you supply proves to be incorrect (e.g. we cannot contact you using the information you provided) we will delete your information.

Principle 9: Personal information is not to be kept for longer than necessary
We will always make it clear to you why personal information is being collected and how long information will be retained.

Your personal information will never be disclosed to a third party, apart from those stated above in principle 5, unless you specifically authorise it, or if we are requested to disclose it in the interests of public safety and compliance with NZ or international law.  In these cases we will contact you directly and provide details about how the additional third party proposes to use the information, and provide contact details for the third party.

Principle 12: Unique identifiers
We will not collect unique identification information other than that recorded by our third party website hosts when you interact with our website in certain ways, typically when you make an online purchase, or reservation, or submit a form, or email us. In those and similar cases, your Internet Protocol (IP) number used at the time may be supplied, also limited information about your device such as operating system, type, and name, may also be supplied. This may be in association with other information about you such as your supplied name and address. Either in association or isolation this data may be able to identify you. This and other data may also be retained by the third-party involved recording it.

Principle 13: Governing law
Confluence and its owning company, Double Farley, are owned by residents of, and operated within the legal
territory and relevant legal acts of New Zealand. Whilst this website and services offered are accessible world wide, they and our policies and principles are legally applicable for New Zealand customers in the first instance.
