Why we've chosen to screen this film in Thoughtful Thursdays
From the trailer this award winning documentary taps into the voices of those on the edge of becoming a teenager, at least in western eyes. Despite some obvious overtones of maybe parental hand-me-downs for some of the 11 year old statements, they are still at the age of innocence, so given enough time with the filmmakers we believe this often hidden layer of insight will shine through.
